The name "Calista" is of Greek origin and it's meaning is "most beautiful."
Fine Art Pedestal's innovative design and aesthetically pleasing hardwood combinations are the
solid foundation for a beautiful Calista. Solid Hardwoods can be combined with Exotic Veneer Species to create a look that is entirely yours.
To assure Calista lives up to her "most beautiful" name,
we apply several layers of Lacquer top coat. After curing each coat is hand sanded to level
and prepare the surface for each subsequent layer. The final coat results a luxurious semi-gloss sheen.
We're sure you'll agree, Calista is "most beautiful."
Calista is strong and durable too! Each corner panel is double mitered and grooved to hold the solid wood legs.
The legs are then fit snugly into those grooves and permanently secured with Titebond III premium glue. Four support blocks are then glued and screwed into place along the length of each mitered corner.
4 #10 galvanized screws are then driven through them into the pre-drilled holes in each of Calista's legs. Beauty and Strength!
