The name "Arachnia" refers to the spider-like influences apparent in this solid wood pedestal. Designed by my son Brick, Arachnia won a "Best in Class" Blue-Ribbon at the 2005 Greenwich Village Art Festival (held annually each September in Rockford, Illinois.) The short version of the story..... I really did not want to make this pedestal. I thought it was too "over-the -top" and that it would never sell. I was wrong. Brick has additional designs that we'll be prototyping this spring and summer! Watch for them.

Standard Features and Options:
    Choose from solid Cherry or Maple and from our selection of Minwax stains: Sedona Red (shown), Green Tea, Mandarin Orange, Onyx or River Stone, all accented with a black paint fade on the lower portion of the legs and "fang" accents. Several coats of High-Gloss Lacquer provide a quality protective coating. Go with our standard offering or Customize Arachnia and let your imagination run wild!
